Myer Centre Cinemas BRISBANE, QLD
The Buchan Group developed a masterplan to reposition Brisbane's multi-level Myer Centre and improve trading after its acquisition by Gandel Retail Trust.
Stage 1 of the redevelopment included the total refurbishment and adaptive re-use of the original upper level themed entertainment complex to a stylish, 8-screen cinema complex. A new 2-level Target store was designed for the former cinema zone.
The Buchan Group was also responsible for the interior design, and was the architect of the original Myer Centre, which opened in 1988.
