The Westin Sydney NSW
The Westin Sydney is part of the No.1 Martin Place redevelopment of the Sydney GPO by the Grollo Group. Interior spaces of the hotel are divided between the heritage building and the new tower and reflect the restrained character of the former post office. The hotel has a classical yet unmistakably contemporary identity and, unusually for a city hotel, abundant natural light is a feature of the guest rooms and most hotel spaces.
The hotel opened in 1999. The development was the National Winner of the 2001 Property Council of Australia Rider Hunt Awards.
