Broadmeadows Town Centre BROADMEADOWS, VIC
The $20 M Plaza development by Colonial First State Property Management comprises 25 new tenancies and the incorporation of the previously freestanding Hoyts and two restaurants into the existing internal structure. A glazed architectural 'box' connects the mall extension to the cinema building and creates a dramatic interior space with a focus on activity and entertainment. A large blade projects from the box and serves as a landmark for the precinct, emphasised by colourful graphics, also designed by The Buchan Group.
The project was completed in 2006.
