The 20 000m² expansion of Cockburn Gateway Shopping City includes a new discount department store, a Woolworths supermarket, a food court and 55 new specialty shops offering fashion, entertainment, food and services. The Buchan Group's design has created a dynamic retail environment enhanced by quality interior design elements and lively graphics that deliver a memorable shopping experience.
The expansion was completed in two stages, with the first stage opening for Christmas trading 2006 and the second stage completed in October 2007. Cockburn Gateway was the Winner of the 2009 Award for Shopping Centres, Property Council of Australia, WA Division
