The new, $3.1M Junior School building at Lake Joondalup Baptist College features individual teaching rooms that are visually open to the internal common area. A new open reception area has been provided, with interview rooms, comfortable lounge chairs and display for sporting trophies and other awards. The development also opened up an existing building between classrooms to create a greater sense of connection between the spaces. Existing rooms
have been converted to a Kindergarten and new kindergarten toilets were built to meet new standards in child care. Provision has been made for the future expansion of classrooms and the introduction of change rooms at the lower level. The project was completed in November 2005.
