Design Cue from Nature

Overview

The One Brighton apartment complex lies within the historic heart of Mandurah and forms an integral part of the staged revitalisation of the Brighton Hotel site.

The luxury apartment building form takes its cue from nature. The design complements the local estuaries and coastal setting. The building has a semi-organic form inspired by the maritime location. It is essentially two buildings with individual cores, attached in the centre. This limits the width of the main tower, requiring innovative apartment layouts to allow maximum views, natural light, ventilation, functionality and efficiency.

A two-storey lobby with high-quality stone finishes and a striking five-metre high water feature is set back behind a landscaped entry forecourt. This forecourt incorporates landscaped public open spaces, reflection ponds and a Cafe tenancy. Communal amenities include a swimming pool and gym.

The apartment interiors are well thought out and beautifully finished. The open-plan layout and spacious balconies have full height glazing and glass balustrades to take advantage of surrounding water views. From the middle-level, three and four bedroom apartments rise up to the penthouse suites crowning the building. All residences feature first-class fittings, natural stone benchtops and stylish European appliances.

The project comprises 11 levels of residential accommodation above three levels of parking.
