Rundle Place has brought a new international retail destination to Adelaide’s Rundle Mall. Pacific Shopping Centre’s $385M development of the former Harris Scarfe site was designed by The Buchan Group to draw new, international brands to the Adelaide CBD for the first time. Signage and wayfinding were included in the design.
The development has created a strong retail connection between Rundle Mall and the Grenfell Street commercial precinct and comprises four integrated levels around a central atrium, with 70 specialty shops, a highly contemporary food court, the first Apple store in Adelaide, first full-line Coles supermarket in the Adelaide CBD and Harris Scarfe’s flagship Australian store.
Principal Andrew Mackenzie and Associate Paul Harrison led The Buchan Group on the development.
