The evolution of Belmont Forum continues with the transformation of its Food Court into a fresh and contemporary family-friendly dining space. Scheduled to open later this year, the new look Food Court follows on from the $65 million redevelopment of the shopping centre which launched late last year, aligning it with the warm and natural aesthetic featured throughout the rest of the building.
The design creates visual interest using custom seating pods and benches characterized by an organic form which directs customer flow and creates variety in the space. Biophilic design principles continue through to the rounded ceiling troughs and rich wooden ceiling features; while the use of planting and vibrant colour brings much needed warmth and visual activity to the space.
Buchan is providing interior design and project management services for the redevelopment of the Food Court for our client Perron Group, continuing our involvement with the evolution of Belmont Forum.
