Encouraging the education and development of students and young professionals within the property sector is something we wholeheartedly believe in at Buchan, which is why we are proud to support the work of Keystone Trust. Keystone Trust provide opportunities and support to students entering into property related tertiary studies through scholarships, events, mentorship, and many other great initiatives.
Buchan were thrilled to recently have the opportunity to show a group of eager young students around one of our Enviro-Mark Gold accredited projects –The Hub Hornby – as a part of Keystone Trust’s ‘Site Visits’ initiative. Exploring the centre alongside Buchan New Zealand Practice Manager Raylene McEwan and Associate Gavin Gillson, provided the students with an insider look into the history and progression of the buildings design, including its environmental characteristics and structural strengthening in response to earthquake risk.
Moving up to the North Island, Keystone Trust’s Annual ‘Speed Networking’ event was recently held in Auckland and was attended by Principal and Keystone Mentor, Robert McFarlane. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for students and mentors to establish connections and engage in insightful conversation.
Thank you to Keystone Trust for the images and for more information about their work, please visit their website.
