Castle Towers continues to bring best in class retail, to the strategic growth corridor of North West Sydney with the launch of a major upgrade to the Piazza alfresco dining precinct and Level 2 and 3 of the retail centre late last year. The project continues Buchan’s longstanding involvement with QICGRE in the transformation of Castle Towers which includes the design of its popular marketplace and food court.
Set across level two and three of the centre, the new remixed fashion, entertainment and lifestyle retail offering is flooded with natural light from a skylight above, while a large central void area promotes connectivity between each level, capitalising on view lines and providing visitors with a sense of place. Outside, the Piazza offers shoppers with a place to relax, unwind and dine in a space which features a new transparent roof and a series of garden courtyards to protect patrons from the elements, enabling them to enjoy the popular precinct year-round.
