Buchan has been working alongside our long-standing client CapitaLand on a fresh new look for the bustling Hongkou Plaza in Shanghai, with construction on the first phase of the centre rebrand now underway ahead of a scheduled opening in October.
The renovation will begin with “EATplex”, a 3,200sqm food and beverage precinct and thoroughfare that connects directly to the neighbouring metro and supermarket. The centre will remain open during the renovation, with construction taking place after trading hours over a tight program of 80 days, providing continuity to both customers and retailers alike.
