Gosford Alive given the green light

Set to reinvigorate Gosford’s CBD, Lederer Group’s $345 million mixed-use precinct ‘Gosford Alive’ has been given the green light by the NSW Independent Planning Commission. Comprising of five residential towers anchored by commercial and retail tenancies, the development also features ample public space with 21 per cent of the site allocated to landscaping which seamlessly blends into Gosford’s parklands.

Sensitivity to the local landscape continues through to Buchan’s design of the five towers, each of which draws inspiration from the layered nature of its surrounds. The proposal envisions a series of articulated building forms, where each tower’s design language responds to its unique position and outlook with three key considerations in mind; premium aspect to water views and natural landscape, layered podiums and filtered views at mid-canopy level, and a warm interconnected material palette referenced against the Rumbalara Ridge Reserve.
