Buchan wins AIA Northern Territory Commercial Award 2018

Buchan’s Zuccoli Plaza has taken out the top gong for the Commercial Architecture category in the 2018 Australian Institute of Architects Northern Territory Awards. Zuccoli Plaza is designed as a vibrant community retail hub located in the heart of a new Northern Territory master-planned suburb, Zuccoli at Palmerston. The defining architectural concept is the creation of a village plaza which connects, integrates, and extends the adjoining park into the surrounding parkland.

Buchan wins AIA Queensland Commercial Award 2018

The Australian Institute of Architects (Queensland) has awarded Robina Town Centre Market Hall Redevelopment a commercial architecture award. The project includes a brand new two-storey food precinct, dubbed ‘The Kitchens’ which celebrates local and regional produce. The 2018 Queensland Architecture Awards were announced on 8 June. Winners progress to the National Architecture Awards to be announced in November.

The Property Council of New Zealand has recognised the Buchan designed ‘The Hub Hornby’ in the 2018 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards. Grimshaw in association with Buchan has won the 2018 Australian Interior Design Award for Interior Design Impact for the Highpoint Shopping Centre North East Precinct Development. The North East Precinct Development provides Melbourne’s west a premium retail, food and experiential offer through aspirational and sustainable design. Buchan has designed numerous stages of Highpoint Shopping Centre and this expansion has cemented Highpoint as a leading destination outside the CBD.
