Paul Watson Turns The First Sod at AEIOU Garran

Having proudly worked with the AEIOU Foundation for children with autism for over a decade we were excited to witness the realisation of another centre yesterday with our project lead Paul Watson joining John James Foundation chair Professor Paul Smith, Minister for Disability Suzanne Orr and AEIOU Foundation chair Susan Rix to turn the first sod for AEIOU Garran.

The purpose-built centre is designed to provide children with a safe, familiar and naturalistic environment, bringing world-class early intervention services to Canberra. It will feature therapy and activity rooms, dedicated motor skills development space and customized safety features along with staff spaces and meeting rooms.

Buchan provided architectural design services in collaboration with project partners John James Foundation, AEIOU Foundation and Project Co-ordination.
