In contention for the awards are Stockland Green Hills, which has been nominated in the ‘Best Shopping Centre Development’ and ‘Best Sustainable Development – Existing Buildings’ categories and Belmont Forum Shopping Centre which has been nominated in the ‘Best Shopping Centre Development’ category.
Stockland Green Hills
The $421 million redevelopment provides the Maitland Region community with an abundance of retail, food and beverage, and entertainment experiences. It also includes community facilities to provide an inclusive and accessible shopping experience.
In addition, the 5-Star Green Star rated development features numerous sustainable design measures including a solar system, free electric vehicle charging facilities, and energy-efficient lighting and air conditioning.
Buchan provided Architecture, Interior Design and Brand Experience services for this project from design development to completion. We congratulate our client Stockland in conjunction with the main contractor Multiplex on the nomination.
Belmont Forum
Since opening in the 1960’s, Belmont Forum Shopping Centre has proven its staying power by keeping up-to-date with the changing needs and expectations of its customers. This includes the recent transformation of its food court into a fresh and contemporary family-friendly dining space that complements the offer of the new signature fresh food precinct, and the opening of a casual dining precinct along Belmont Avenue.
Buchan has been involved in the redevelopment of Belmont Forum Shopping Centre through numerous stages since its inception. We congratulate our client Perron Group on their nomination.
