Construction on the popular Wentworthville community hub ‘Wenty Leagues’ has now reached completion; this final milestone marks a proud moment for our team who worked closely alongside the Club throughout its redevelopment. Working within the constraints of the original building, Buchan’s design seamlessly integrates an additional level of space providing a further 6900 sqm for patrons to explore and enjoy.
Boasting state-of-the-art facilities, the Club features a new grand entry foyer and mezzanine, plaza and alfresco dining area, indoor kids play area, function and corporate meeting rooms, and a premium restaurant and cocktail bar, providing a truly a one-stop hospitality, entertainment and commercial destination. A new administration office for Wenty staff and a 6 level carpark add further amenity to the multi-use venue.
Envisioned as a ‘home away from home’ for the Club’s community, the exterior echoes this idea with an oversized pitched roof which stands pronounced yet respectful to its residential surrounds. Inside, a ‘rooms within rooms’ concept was applied to the spatial arrangement to create cosy and friendly environment.
