The café was a sterile, unwelcoming space, and hence, under-used and frequently empty. Buchan’s design transforms the space. We did this with a palette of contemporary finishes and timeless furniture selections. This includes extending the clean lines of woodgrain, marble and a touch of gold, creating an elegant feeling in relaxed surroundings.
The project comprises enhancements to the existing facilities, including new interiors for the five boardrooms, 12 meeting rooms, Belle Vue Lounge and two large ballrooms. We created a new executive suite for VIP clients, and new interiors in the Green Room, two bars and four dressing rooms.
The addition of operable walls helped create flexible spaces that now cater for a variety of functions. We also added two new double-height conservatories, doubling the café footprint and enabling enjoyment of the summer garden year round.
