The building composition draws focus to the three-level podium as the façades feature an innovative screening system. This provides shade to the faces, significantly improved thermal performance and privacy from oblique view lines whilst retaining views. The screen element comprises timber blades assembled in a dynamic pattern to create a memorable design signature and an element of visual interest to the streetscape – a pattern that opens up on approach.
The street level features a dark toned, patterned precast concrete to the south and east building base adjoining neighbouring properties. A glazed shopfront façade is a feature of the west and part of the north face. The residential entry embellishes a richer palette of materials that lead into the entry lobby.
