Stockland Green Hills has been nominated in the ‘Best Shopping Centre Development’ and ‘Best Sustainable Development – Existing Buildings’ categories at the 2020 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards.
The $421 million redevelopment provides the Maitland Region community with an abundance of retail, food and beverage, and entertainment experiences. It also includes community facilities – such as playgrounds, parents rooms, an adult change room and a designated Quiet Room – providing an inclusive and accessible shopping experience.
In addition, the 5-Star Green Star rated development features numerous sustainable design measures including a solar system, free electric vehicle charging facilities, and energy-efficient lighting and air conditioning.
Buchan is proud to have provided Architecture, Interior Design and Brand Experience services for this project from design development to completion. We congratulate our client Stockland in conjunction with the main contractor Multiplex on this recognition and wish them luck ahead of Awards Gala Dinner in May.
