Buchan was appointed to conceptualise and implement the interior design and refurbishment to all guestrooms, suites, central facilities and outdoor areas. We overhauled the complex. The guestrooms now feature uncluttered, clean lines with timber floors, crisp linen-dressed king beds and spacious all-white bathrooms. The design combines contemporary shapes and natural materials to achieve the desired aesthetic of ‘relaxed elegance’ with accents of blue reminiscent of the surrounding ocean. The honeymoon spa suites include individual plunge pools to provide exclusive private island experiences. On the other side of the resort, families enjoy a range of child-friendly options.
The resort’s wider transformation includes the lobby and public spaces, with new furniture and plush, soft furnishings creating a warm and welcoming space to capitalise on the view and climate. We refreshed the swimming pool and surrounding deck area with stylish sun lounges and extra shade. A newly designed games room enhances the guest experience in addition to the resort’s new mini golf course.
